Who is the NYCAL?

The New York City Athletic League (NYCAL) is a sports league for Independent schools in New York City

To provide quality athletic programs as an effective and valuable part of the full educational experience of Independent schools in New York City. To sustain a comprehensive set of shared practices and policies that enforce the priority of academics and emphasize the values of integrity, fairness and competitiveness in all aspects of its student-athletes’ lives, with the ultimate goal of ensuring that each individual departs our schools with a deeper understanding of the value of sportsmanship, teamwork, commitment, social justice and moral integrity.
